About this Package

Planning a spiritual escape from Indore? This 3-day Mathura Vrindavan tour is just what you need. These twin cities aren't just pilgrimage spots – they're where Krishna's story comes alive. From the narrow lanes echoing with "Radhe Radhe" to the Yamuna's peaceful ghats, every corner has a tale to tell.

Our package is designed for families, solo travelers, and senior citizens . We've handled the logistics so you can focus on what truly matters – soaking in the divine energy of Braj Bhoomi.

Trip Highlights

Curated for a smooth, spiritual and memorable travel experience.

01

You'll start in Mathura, Krishna's birthplace. The Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple complex is powerful – standing in that small chamber, you can feel the devotion that's poured into this place for centuries.

02

Then there's Dwarkadhish Temple, built in 1814, with its stunning architecture and vibrant aartis

03

Vrindavan is different. It's softer, more playful. The Banke Bihari Temple is chaotic in the best way – devotees singing, bells ringing, and the deity peeking through the curtain every few minutes. Don't miss the Prem Mandir's light show after sunset; it's breathtaking

04

We also take you beyond the usual spots. Gokul, where Krishna grew up. Raman Reti, the sacred sand where he played as a child. And if you're up for it, the evening Yamuna Aarti at Vishram Ghat will stay with you long after you leave

Travel Plan

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

3 Days

Day 1 Indore to Mathura – Arrival & Gokul Exploration

Your journey starts early. You can take a flight from Indore to Delhi (1.5 hours) followed by a 3-hour drive, or board an overnight train to Mathura Junction . We recommend the train – it's comfortable and you wake up right there.

Upon arrival, we'll transfer you to your hotel in Vrindavan. Freshen up, then we head to Gokul.

  • Gokul Nand Bhawan Temple: Dedicated to Krishna's foster father, Nanda Maharaj.

  • Raman Reti: Walk on the sands where Krishna played. It's humbling, honestly.

  • Brahman Ghat: A peaceful spot on the Yamuna.

In the evening, return to Mathura for:

  • Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi: Visit the birthplace.

  • Dwarkadhish Temple: Attend the evening aarti if time permits .

Overnight stay in Vrindavan.

Day 2 Vrindavan Sightseeing – Temples, Mysteries & Light Shows

After breakfast, it's all about Vrindavan. We recommend starting early – mornings are calm and less crowded .

  • Banke Bihari Temple: The most vibrant temple. Be prepared for crowds, but it's worth it .

  • Nidhivan: This grove has a mystique. Locals say Krishna still performs Ras Leela here after sunset, which is why it's closed to visitors at night .

  • ISKCON Temple: A peaceful break. Attend the kirtans or just sit in the courtyard – the energy is different here .

  • Radha Raman Temple & Seva Kunj: Quiet, lesser-known spots that many tourists miss. We think they're beautiful .

Evening is for Prem Mandir. The intricate marble carvings are stunning by day, but the light and sound show after 7 PM is spectacular . Stay for the fountains – they're choreographed to devotional music.

Overnight stay in Vrindavan.

Day 3 Govardhan, Barsana & Return

One more day, and we're going deeper into Krishna's legends.

  • Govardhan Hill: This is where Krishna lifted the hill to protect villagers from rain. Devotees walk the 21-km parikrama around it, but we'll drive to the key spots: Radha Kund and Kusum Sarovar .

  • Barsana: The hometown of Radha. The Radha Rani Temple here is powerful. If you're visiting during Holi, this is where the famous Lathmar Holi takes place .

After lunch, we begin our journey back. We'll drop you at Mathura Junction or Delhi airport depending on your travel plans.

Late Evening: Departure from Mathura, arriving in Indore the next morning.

Why Book This 3 Day Mathura Vrindavan Tour From Indore?

Planning a trip from Indore to Mathura Vrindavan can be exhausting. Train tickets, hotel bookings, cab arrangements, temple timings – it is a lot to figure out. We have been doing this for years, so we know exactly what travelers need. And that is why we built this package – to take the stress out of your spiritual journey.

What You Actually Get

No Hidden Costs. Some operators quote a low price and then add driver allowances, parking fees, toll taxes, and service charges later. By the end, you are paying thirty percent more than expected. We do not do that. Our quote includes everything – cab, fuel, tolls, hotel stays, breakfast, and dinner. Simple.

A Practical Itinerary. Most packages cram fifteen temples into two days. You end up running from one place to another, remembering nothing except exhaustion. Our three-day plan is paced sensibly. Morning visits when temples are less crowded. Evening aartis when the atmosphere is magical. Enough time at each spot to actually pray, click photos, or just sit and absorb the vibes.

Local Secrets. Banke Bihari Temple gets packed. But there is a side entrance that saves thirty to forty minutes of queue time. Our drivers know these tricks. They also take you to spots not on the tourist map – a quiet ghat, an old sweet shop making peda since 1942, a lesser-known temple with zero crowds.

Comfort For Everyone. Temple visits involve a lot of walking. That is tough for seniors. So we keep our pace flexible – need a break? We stop. Want to skip a temple? Done. Our vehicles are comfortable, hotels have elevators, and we carry basic medical supplies.

Great Food. Mathura's street food is legendary, but not every stall is hygienic. We take you to clean, trusted vegetarian restaurants. Crispy kachoris, creamy lassi, and those unforgettable pedas – you will taste the best without worrying about your stomach.

24/7 Support. Flight delayed? Lost your way? We are available around the clock. Not an automated voice – an actual person who will help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, three days is ideal. It gives you enough time to visit all major temples, attend aartis, explore Gokul and Barsana, and still have some relaxed moments by the Yamuna. Anything less feels rushed.

The Indore - Mathura Express is a popular choice. It takes around 11 to 12 hours. For faster options, you can fly from Indore to Delhi (1.5 hours) and then take a cab to Mathura (3 hours).

It is a carefully planned trip covering Krishna Janmabhoomi, Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir, ISKCON, Gokul, Govardhan, and Barsana. Includes hotel stay, meals, cab, and guided sightseeing.

Costs vary depending on travel mode and hotel category. For a comfortable 3-day package from Indore, expect to spend between ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 per person including transport, stay, and meals.

Not currently. The Indore - Bhopal - Delhi route does not have a Vande Bharat yet. But there are several superfast trains and flights available.

By road, it is approximately 650 kilometers. By train, it takes 11 to 12 hours. By flight, you fly to Delhi (1.5 hours) and then drive 3 hours to Mathura.

Start with Mathura. Visit Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish Temple first. Then move to Vrindavan for the remaining days. This flow makes logistical sense and matches the traditional pilgrimage route.

You can, but it will be tight. You will cover the main temples but miss out on Gokul, Govardhan, Barsana, and the relaxed ghat experiences. Three days is much better.

October to March is the best time. The weather is pleasant, perfect for temple hopping. Avoid summers – temperatures can cross 40 degrees Celsius. Festivals like Janmashtami and Holi are spectacular but very crowded.

Mathura is closer to Agra. It is about 55 kilometers away, while Vrindavan is approximately 65 kilometers. Both are well-connected by road.

Train tickets range from ₹500 (sleeper) to ₹2,500 (AC 3-tier) approximately. Flight tickets to Delhi vary between ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 depending on booking time.

Gokul is about 25 kilometers from Vrindavan. It takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour by road. It is a must-visit – this is where Krishna grew up.

Most temples are free, but Krishna Janmabhoomi has a small entry fee. No advance booking is required for regular visits. However, during festivals, expect long queues.

The ideal time to visit is between October and March, when the weather is pleasant and comfortable for temple visits and outdoor sightseeing . Summers (April to June) should be avoided as temperatures can exceed 40°C. If you want to experience the grand festivals, visit during Janmashtami (August) or Holi (February/March) – but be prepared for huge crowds

The distance from Indore to Mathura is approximately 650 to 693 kilometers by road, taking about 12 to 13 hours depending on traffic and route . The fastest option is to take a 1.5-hour flight from Indore to Delhi, followed by a 3-hour drive. Alternatively, overnight trains from Indore to Mathura Junction take around 11 to 12 hours and are a comfortable and popular choice for pilgrims

While you can cover the main temples in 2 days, 3 days is the sweet spot for a relaxed and meaningful experience . A 3-day itinerary allows you to explore Mathura's Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish Temple, Vrindavan's Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir, and ISKCON temples, plus nearby spots like Gokul, Govardhan, and Barsana without rushing

Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan is the most crowded, especially on weekends and during evening aartis . The best time to visit is early morning, before 8 AM, when the crowd is manageable and darshan feels less rushed . Weekday mornings are significantly quieter than weekends.

Yes, absolutely. Temple visits involve walking and climbing, so we keep our pace flexible – need a break? We stop . Want to skip a temple and rest? Done. Our vehicles are comfortable, hotels have elevators, and we carry basic medical supplies. Many of our guests are families with senior citizens, and they always come back happy, not exhausted
