About Premanand Ji Maharaj – The Saint of Divine Prem Bhakti

Premanand Ji Maharaj is a genuine saint of God from Vrindavan endorsing the path of Prem Bhakti (devotion soaked with divine love) for the worship of Radha-Krishna. Maharaj Ji is a true devotee of God and is very traditional in his approach to the Bhakti Marg (the path of devotion) with teachings grounded in humility, selfless service, and pure love.

He lives a humble and renounced life with little to no social media presence or public attention. Maharaj Ji instead influences thousands of daily lives through uplifting pravachan (spiritual discourses or talks), kirtan (chanting of devotional songs), and rasik katha (stories about divine love). His ashram (monastery) in Vrindavan is a serene spiritual sanctuary where devotees can attend satsangs (congregational meeting for the purpose of spiritual discourse), darshan (to experience the visual connection with God), and discover the joy of being a true devotee and completing selfless services.

For those who are seekers or devotees, after leaving Premanand Maharaj Ji you will always remember what he said, because any of Maharaj Ji's words will help awaken love for Shri Radha and Krishna in your heart.

Plan a sacred day with Vrindavan Mathura Tourism

When coming to Premanand Maharaj Ji’s Ashram, do not forget to visit the nearby holy sites of Vrindavan. These sites can easily go into your darshan plan and are a comendation to the sacred historicity of Braj Bhoomi.

1. Banke Bihari Temple

  1. Located about 4-5 km away from the ashram, this is perhaps the most popular temple in all of Vrindavan. The temple is dedicated to Thakur Ji (Banke Bihari) and it has a very unique darshan style, insofar as the curtain surrounding the deity opens and closes frequently in order to keep the devotee from fainting because of Krishna's unparalleled beauty. It is, without question, the heart of all that is devoted in Vrindavan.

2. ISKCON Vrindavan (Krishna Balaram Mandir)

  1. Located a very short drive away, ISKCON temple provides you a clean and serene spiritual atmosphere. It is frequented by both Indians and devotees from all around the world. You can participate in daily aartis, listen to Srimad Bhagavatam classes, and partake in prasadam. The temple grounds are very pristine and great for contemplation.

3. Nidhivan

  1. Located in the older section of Vrindavan, Nidhivan is a mystical grove believed by many to be the original site of Radha-Krishna's nightly Raas Leela. Nobody is allowed in the grove after sunset because of sacred traditions. A visit to Nidhivan brings a deep sense of wonder and devotion.

4. Prem Mandir

  1. An architectural jewel, Prem Mandir is a marble temple devoted to Radha-Krishna and Sita-Ram. The stunning temple was designed and built by Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj. In addition to life-size statues depicting Krishna’s pastimes, the evening light show is especially loved by all age groups.

5. Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana (Optional extension)

  1. If you are extending your spiritual journey, you may visit Rangeeli Mahal in Barsana. This was associated with Ramesh Baba and could also be linked to Premanand Maharaj Ji's bhakti lineage. Barsana is known as the birthplace of Radha Rani and hosts the colorful Lathmar Holi and Radhashtami celebrations. Only 40 km away from Vrindavan.
