Ram Navami is certainly among the holiest and most important Hindu festivals; it celebrates the birth of Lord Ram, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Madhyahna is the time when most of the auspicious ceremonies on the day of Ram Navami are performed by devotees with intense recitation of Lord Ram's name and special pujas.
RAM NAVAMI-the commemorative occasion marking the birth of Lord Ram-is celebrated deeply with ardent devotion in India and all over the world. It consists of prayers, fasts, charity, and large festivities, especially Ayodhya, Lord Ram's birthplace.

Morning Rituals: Beginning with Devotion
Devotees of Lord Ram either observe a full fast on the day or limit their diet to fruits.

Special Abhisheka, i.e., the holy bathing of an idol, is done to the idol of Lord Ram using panchamrit, consisting of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar.
